Family = Araceae
Genus = Peltandra
Species = M. aquatica
Care and Requirements.
Arrow Arum is from a group of plants known as marginal, bog, or
shallow water plants. Marginals typically like to have their
roots constantly wet, but most of the plant is held above water
level.
"..Bog plants add height and texture to any water garden.
Most will survive in moist/damp soil, and tolerate water depths
from 2"-12" depending on the species. Full sun is
preferred (4-6 hours/day); but some tolerate partial shade/sun.
Most marginal plants are highly invasive, and should not be
planted on the bottom of earthen ponds. Plant in 1-3 gallon
container in garden soil. Plants are hardy in zones indicated;
treat as annuals in other areas..."
